Solution

The enrollment process is the same across environments, but the SDK must be configured for the correct environment:

  • iOS: Confirm a supported physical iPhone, Developer Mode enabled, and a Sandbox Apple Account signed in for UAT. Restart the device and retry if enrollment fails.
  • Android: Disable developer mode before running Tap to Pay transactions (required security control).
  • If UAT worked but production fails, unenroll and retry against production.
