  1. Request the Tap to Pay development certificate/entitlement (the PSP of record submits under its Apple Developer account).

  2. Build the app and obtain Tap to Pay approval (demo videos + Apple Human Interface Guidelines for Tap to Pay).

  3. Configure distribution certificates.

  4. Submit for App Store approval.

If integrating via a PSP's white-labeled SDK, the PSP handles Apple Business Register (ABR) and Partner Hub steps — the ISV does not manage those directly. End-to-end certification typically takes about one week when the integration works correctly.
